Sostenida por Su gracia: Un testimonio de fe, pérdida y restauración is a deeply personal memoir by Anabel Nieves that shares a journey of faith through seasons of loss, healing, and restoration. More than a personal story, the book offers hope and encouragement to readers facing life's most difficult moments, reminding them that God's grace is sufficient even in times of suffering.

This project was the result of a collaborative effort between author Anabel Nieves, editor Ofelia Pérez, and myself, Rick Lipsett, as the graphic designer responsible for both the cover and interior layout.

The cover was designed to communicate the heart of the book before a single page is turned. The photograph of the author, embracing herself while looking upward with peace and gratitude, reflects a life sustained by God's grace. The bold, oversized typography gives visual emphasis to the word gracia ("grace"), making it the focal point of the composition and reinforcing the central message of the testimony. The natural coastal setting further supports the themes of renewal, hope, and spiritual restoration.

Inside, the editorial design embraces a clean and minimalist aesthetic that allows the author's voice to remain the primary focus. Thoughtfully selected typography, generous white space, and a clear visual hierarchy create a comfortable reading experience, encouraging readers to immerse themselves in each chapter without distraction.

Special attention was given to chapter openings and pull quotes, creating moments of visual pause that invite reflection while maintaining consistency throughout the book. Every design decision was made with the intention of supporting the emotional journey of the narrative and allowing the message to resonate naturally with the reader.
