Interior Layout Design for No soy una mujer de SEGUNDA CATEGORÍA
Some books are born from a single voice. Others come to life through collaboration.
No soy una mujer de SEGUNDA CATEGORÍA, written by Dorcas Laboy, is one of those projects where multiple creative perspectives came together with a shared purpose: to deliver a meaningful message through a high-quality editorial experience.
From the beginning, this book carried a strong, confident voice—one that needed to be supported by a clean, intentional interior design that respected the content and guided the reader with clarity and rhythm. My role in this project was to design the interior layout, shaping the reading experience page by page and ensuring that the message flowed naturally, without distractions.
The project was enriched by a talented creative team. The cover design was crafted by Nadja Navedo, whose visual approach set the tone from the very first glance. The editorial work was led by Ofelia Pérez, whose attention to detail and structure helped bring cohesion and polish to the final manuscript.
Together, author, editor, cover designer, and interior designer worked toward a common goal: transforming a powerful idea into a finished product that feels intentional, professional, and impactful. Projects like this are a reminder that great books are never the result of a single effort—they are built through trust, dialogue, and creative alignment.
