T-shirt for Yabucoa's Catacumba #10

It's been an amazing few years, being able to work alongside amazing people (like the ones above on the photo), serving the community of Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. This past summer (2018) we developed the Church's Mission Statement. To accompany it and serve as an uniform for us, I was delighted to come up with this design.

The logo was supposed to convey how God came and dwelt among us. He set his tent in the middle of our history to show his incomparable love, through the encarnation of His Son, Jesus. Once the design was set, all that needed to happen was to print some shirts! We used Edmanuel Collazo's Gisei Fight Wear. A local entrepreneur with his start-up company. It was a great collaborative work.

The Biblical text used as an inspiration for both the mission statement and this shirt, was John 1: 14 which reads like this:
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
I have been doing graphic work for years, but must admit that creating graphic design for this ministry has ben very special in a unique way.
