Flyers for Catacumba 10

Text Reads: "Why the Cross?" "This 30th of March, at 3pm; come to our special Good Friday service,
inspired in the Cross. You're home!"

Every time Catacumba 10 from Yabucoa, Puerto Rico went out into the field to serve, we went with tracts that expressed the message of why we were there in the first place. The challenge was creating something unique that wouldn't end up quickly in the trash bins, once given to people. We opted for messages that invited thought and made people want more. And that's how we came up with these flyers/tracts. What do you think, did we achieve our goal?

Here are some of them:
Text reads: "Have you ever wanted to experience true love? The answer is in John 3: 16" "Come and celebrate with us this and every Sunday at 10:30am, the amazing love that Christ demonstrated towards us. Join us, You're home!"

Text reads: "Is there a Way out?" "The answer that you seek is closer that what you expect. Join us this Sunday at 10:30am. You're home!"

Yabucoa has been going through a tough fight against suicide ever since Hurricane MarĂa destroyed most of this municipality, so when we had the chance to go and visit people, we took this flyer with us as a conversation starter. We wanted to let them know there was still hope. They were not alone.

The text reads:
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The God of the Universe decided to leave His throne because of His faithfulness to you. Open your heart to Jesus today, so that you may fully enjoy His unfailing love, forever. Christ loves you!"

Also, once we developed our mission statement (see the past few posts) we came up with this flyer to help us talk to people about it.

These graphic works that have been made for Yabucoa, have been some of the most satisfying work I've recently done. It helped make a connection with folks and initialize conversation on difficult times they were experiencing to help and serve them. What a privilege!
