Cars in the Brain

As we've said before, Agency Work sometimes includes a lot of designs that are never used. Such is the case with these Cabrera Auto concepts. Being a Car dealership, most of the work done for this client is retail, so every time a Branding Campaign is requested, we jump in glee and pour our souls into tens of designs, so the client may choose one (1). No one to blame for all the unused designs than ourselves, I guess.

Of all the amazing designs and concepts, We decided to show just two (2). These were considered to be the most powerful marriages between copy and graphic elements. Unfortunately, neither was the one the client chose.

"If You're thinking about Cars, Think about Cabrera FIRST"
That was the official copy for the ad. The un-official line
read something like: "Stop wanting a car and come to us
so you can OWN one, dude"



"If You're thinking about Cars... CABRERA"
A more literal approach, using X-Rays to show off
what goes through the mind of someone who's
thinking of purchasing an automobile.

It hurts us when one of our babies is rejected, but the client cannot afford to publish every idea we come up with. They'd be bankrupt by now.
